ANTONIO MELENDEZ
IMPACT ARTIST, COACH AND SPEAKER
I coach people, make music, capture moments in time,
tell stories and help nonprofits because it's my nature.
I feel this work is sacred. I couldn't live any other way.
I'm not cut out for a regular job in one town. I'm a global citizen. I thrive in the unknown and I can't help but translate those experiences into art.
My own personal transformation and deep shadow work has shown me what's possible and has given me a deeper understanding of people
and how to guide them and support their own journey..
About Me
My whole life I've seen things others miss. The details, the way the light dances with shadow. The potential inside people. The bigger picture hiding in plain sight. I don't know any other way to look at the world. Everything I've built has come from following that instinct wherever it leads.
I grew up drawn to service. It took me into the United States Coast Guard in 1999, into filmmaking for social and environmental causes, into the Brazilian Amazon with a camera and a goal to save the forest. It took me to stages across South America, Brazil, Mexico and Europe composing music to express my soul.
It eventually brought me inward, to the hardest excavation of my own life, and out the other side into work I couldn't have imagined when I started. Over two decades I've built a creative career that doesn't fit neatly into any one box. I'm an award-winning filmmaker and my production company Heartisan Films has supported campaigns and causes raising over $100 million for social and environmental movements. I'm a fine art photographer whose series We Are Still Here documents indigenous warriors and communities in the Brazilian Amazon, with proceeds dedicated directly to supporting their causes. I'm a composer and pianist whose music has played in concert halls, intimate gatherings and the private moments of people finding their way through something difficult. I've received over 20 film festival awards including recognition for Gorilla Girl. In 2025 Marquis Who's Who honored my body of work across music, film, philanthropy and the creative arts.
What remains most important to me is this, I've lived through losing myself and finding my way back. The Remembrance album wasn't just a musical project. It was the document of my own excavation and transformation. That lived experience is the foundation of the coaching work I do now, guiding people who have lost themselves in a relationship, a career, a role, back to who they actually are.
I coach three kinds of people. Those who have given everything to everyone else and forgotten who they are, artists who feel their work is being called toward something more meaningful than the next sale or the next exhibition and men who are ready to embody their true purpose and healthy masculinity. Additionally I support nonprofits and NGOs in communications, strategic partnerships and fundraising through my impact solutions.
I've been through it all personally and thats why this work exists.
I'm a father of two. I build Lego fortresses, surf, rock climb, hike and make music with my kids. I mentor indigenous journalists and young storytellers through the Articulation of Indigenous Peoples of Brazil. I believe creativity and service are the same impulse, that art at its best is an act of love toward the people it reaches.
